The NEVYs celebrate the people and companies powering New England's innovation economy, and the nominations come from you. If a founder, firm, investor, or organization made this year better, tell us who and why. It takes about five minutes, and it's one of the most meaningful ways to lift up someone doing the work.

Seven awards, open to you

Three Company Awards judged by the NEVYs Academy. Four Ecosystem Awards decided by peers, community, and the NEVCA board. Nominate for any of them below.

NEVYs Academy is our panel of New England venture firms who judge the Company Awards, meeting in private sessions to debate the finalists and pick each winner. Thank you to Deloitte for hosting the 2026 Academy.

Emerging Company Company
An early-stage company (Seed/Series A) building something bold: breakthrough tech, real traction, and a vision worth betting on.
Powerhouse Company Company
A Series B/C company with serious momentum that has raised real funding and earned the community's attention.
Exit of the Year Company
A New England company that hit a defining milestone this year: an IPO, an acquisition, or a major liquidity event.
Rising Star VC Ecosystem
An investor recently stepped up to Principal or Partner, already shaping standout deals and showing up for the community.
Capital Catalyst Ecosystem
A provider that has meaningfully supported startup capital, whether as an investor, angel, LP, emerging manager, or similar.
Community Champion Ecosystem
An organization or individual who went above and beyond for the ecosystem: connecting, supporting, and lifting the region.
Firm of the Year Ecosystem
The New England VC firm that most shaped the region this year through its investments, leadership, and presence.

Eligibility & fine print

Location. Eligible companies and people must be headquartered in, or have the majority of their team or C-suite based in, a New England state (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, or VT).

Recognition window. Nominees should have achieved a significant milestone between Sept 2025 and Sept 2026: a closed round, a meaningful partnership or licensing deal, headcount growth, a technological breakthrough, a defining exit, or an outsized contribution to the community.

Process. The community nominates first. For the three Company Awards, the NEVYs Academy down-selects to finalists and debates the winner across its three judging rooms. Ecosystem awards are decided by peer nomination, community, or the NEVCA board. You may submit as many nominees as you'd like. Just one form per nominee.
